"Join Henry as he travels the highways, byways and backroads of America in a two month, ten-thousand mile solo cross-country journey." That pretty much sums up this exciting online chronicle of a trip I took in the Spring of 1998. This site was a huge challenge to create. A daily journal was updated every day of the trip using only a regular word processing program, which was then uploaded to my ftp server. Once the trip was complete, 300 photographs and several soundclips were added to the pre-existing pages to make the website complete. Thousands of visitors from all over the world have written to say how much they enjoy the site, and how its been a wonderful resource for them in planning their own trips across the US. This site was featured on ZDTV's cable television show, "Internet Tonight". A Q&A section from the show (with yours truly) is also available to read within the website. |
