I started watching the show after my friend Amber told me about it (in the first season). I have been watching it since. Dharma is an interesting combo of Amber and I, she is the more occult-ish, etheral half, and I am the wild, zany, make-fun-happen-wherever-I-go half. I have always wondered what the screen said at the end of the show, but would forget to record it to try to read it. So I singed up on your mailing list and now I recieve the vanity card every week. Thanks a bunch! -kristen marks

Thanks Chuck, I love all your "beliefs." I wish I had noticed the vanity cards before. #44 was wonderful, I get the same 2 messages! I came to understand, that my conflict came from my ego wanting to be a hero. Now I respect the path of others, and can be kindest by accepting who they are. I don't need to sacrifice my happiness in order to be kind. I think your intuition is very sharp & clear. I love "Dharma & Greg. You are truly kind & loving. Thanks again.

"Life.. and death, energy and peace...
If I stop today.. it was still worth it..
even the terrible mistakes that I have made..
and would have un-made if I could..
the pains that have burned me and scared my soul.
It was worth it..
for having been allowed to walk where I've walked..

WOW Great site. It took me a while to find it but it was well worth the time spent. I discovered the vanity cards when I decided to pause the VCR one day and see what it was all about, I'm glad I did. I look forward to watching Dharma and Greg every week, even now as we are watching reruns in Australia. I was catching up on all the earlier cards and now I've found them all on this fantastic site. You're doing a good job, thanks.

What would the world be like without wonderful, creative people like the cast of the show, the Vanity cards and your wonderful site? When I first discovered when I watched the show that I recorded that there was something of value going on at the end, namely the Vanity cards, it was difficult to read on pause, as often the resolution is not all that great, so I am so happy to have this site! What a hard vote to cast! But I decided to do it based on character, as I know some people like Kitty! Thank you all for your contribution to GREAT Television

I had the pleasure of meeting Henry online about a year ago. I realized right away what an intelligent and talented person he was. It was refreshing to meet someone that could easily make you smile.

His music also reflects his depth of emotion. It is truly moving!

He is also always helpful in way he can be. I certainly consider him a great friend. I am always excited to hear about his latest accomplishments. With Henry, accomplishments are bountiful. I must tell him, "Remember, I knew you when." I know he will become a truly successful individual and probably be someone who is even quite famous. Look out Henry, I've got big dreams for you!!

Thanks for the wonderful web page. Keep up the great work buddy!

"Hey Henry I love your vanity cards they are so funny"

(oh, man, don't you just hate it that he doesn't realize that The Producer Formerly Known As Chuck Lorre was the author of the cards, and Henry Herman is the talented and underthanked web site author that made it possible for the rest of us to glean insights to the secrets of life by posting Chuck's two-second vanity cards on the web for all of us? Someday I hope to see the full original version of Dharma & Greg. The one where they got married! I remeber tuning in & seeing only the part where Dharma, Greg, & Jane were in the Bathroom & someone was in the tub fully clothed. At the time I didn't know what it was & neither did my husband. It looked funny to me but he changed the channel not knowing what is was. Of course now it is one of our favorite shows. There are probably only two shows I realy ever watch & this is #1. P.S. Dharma's personality is like my best friend Kristy's except Kristy isn't into the natural, hippy stuff.

Saw your URL in Parade...Glad to have the opportunity to read the Vanity Cards...amazed that so many others find this little 2 seconds of television to be so fascinating. Also, I am greatly heartened to know that there are others out there (Mr Lorre, Sir-for example)whose minds run similarly askew to mine own...the world is balanced once again...

Thanks for going to all this trouble! I always tape and freeze frame, but sometimes I have trouble getting a clear image. I've also missed a couple of phrases due to local weather bulletins being posted on the screen. Now I can see what was missing!

Excellent site there Henry. You've really put in a lot of work to make this so wonderful. The one flaw that I can attest to is that in your "Brushes with Greats," you left out the movie and television actor Cole Hauser. The fact that you knew him before he even hit it big is something that you can cherish. Again, great site.

Hi Henry, I'm glad that someone takes the time to document their adventures. I need info for a Road Trip Project that my 8th grade teacher assigned. I have never been outside Pennsylvania so I was kind of lost. I stumbled across your USA Roadtrip and I can't tell you how happy it made me. I only had to select six sights but with all you had my job was made easy. I must admit after reading your journal I feel like I visited each and everyone. Thanks your a life saver. Have fun traveling and documenting your journies for poor kids like me who can't travel. The real reason is that neither of my parents like to travel. Thanks again, Snoop44

Thank you so much for the vanity cards. I just finished reading all of them and I really needed the laughs. My wife and I try to watch the show every week. On another note; I really like your page. I like the way you have connected the pictures to the links. At first I was wondering why it took so long to download. Our oldest son talked us into getting involved with the multimedia applications around Christmas 1998. We had purchased a 286 back in 1988 and used it until we went crazy and bought the stuff we have now. I can't tell you how much we enjoy what we are doing now. If you get a chance please check out our web page. It is fairly extensive and explains what we are doing. It isn't easy to get the general public to understand the advantages of what we are doing. Our son is an exceptional programmer and we are doing everything we can to provide him with a means to keep expanding his skills. We would appreciate any comments you might have. Thank you again for your web page and keep up the good work. We really do understand what it takes. Sincerely, Robert & Julie
