ABC's "Dharma & Greg" made it three in a row over NBC's "Frasier" in the
post-season rerun-vs-rerun slugfest in Tuesday 9 p.m. time slot, which helped
ABC prevail on a lackluster night overall for the Big Four networks. The 9 p.m. rerun of "Dharma" averaged 10.2 million viewers and 4.0 rating/12 share
in the key adults 18-49 demographic to "Frasier's" 7.3 million viewers and 2.9/9 in the demo, according to preliminary estimates today from Nielsen
Media Research. The 8 p.m. edition of ABC's "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" ranked as the most-watched show of the night with 14.3 million viewers and
3.7/13 in 18-49. Despite a weak showing at 10 p.m. from "NYPD Blue" (6.8 million, 2.4/7) ABC won the night in total viewers (10 million) and tied with
CBS in 18-49 (3.2/10). CBS came in second in total viewers (9.2 million) with
its three-hour "AFI 100 Years...100 Thrills" special highlighting filmdom's best thriller flicks. |
