WBTV assigns multiple 'Choice'
Source: Hollywood Reporter; March 8, 2001

After months of negotiations, Warner Bros. TV has closed deals with Fox Broadcasting Co. and cable network FX on "Nathan's Choice," a half-hour multiplatform interactive comedy pilot from "Dharma & Greg" co-creator Chuck Lorre. ABC, meanwhile, has picked up "Kiss the Bride," a half-hour comedy from Artists Television Group written and executive produced by Jeffrey Klarik ("Mad About You") about a married couple and their best friends. The innovative "Choice," written and executive produced by Lorre, is described as " 'The Graduate' done in 2001."

It centers on Nathan, a young man recently out of college and completely ill-prepared to deal with the big world and the choices that come with it. The show's production team will shoot two different second acts of each episode. At the end of the first act, Nathan will face a dilemma and two choices. The audience will vote during the commercial break, and the winning choice will be aired. The episode with the unaired second act will run the same week on FX.
